We provide a safe and nurturing environment that encourages children to lay the foundation to build a brighter future. We strive to provide an enriched environment that incorporates social, emotional, physical and cognitive needs for infants through school age children. By developing a partnership with the parents we will be able to provide a commitment to lifelong learning.
We believe that children need a safe and nurturing envrionment. We believe that each child is special and unique. We feel that children learn best through hands on learning experiences that promote self-discovery, cooperative learning, and cognitive development. We believe that when it comes to children their feelings count, their sadness is comforted, their joy is shared and their accomplishments are praised. With this, we believe that by developing a partnership with the parents we will ensure success for our students at home, as well as, in school.

Research has indicated the level of success a child attains in school and later in life is directly related to the level at which a child progresses in reading and writing. The quality and frequency of the experiences children are exposed to greatly increase the understanding and skills necessary for reading and writing success. At ALA, we provide curriculum activities that promote beginning reading skills. Our goal is to expose children to diverse experiences regarding concepts in pre-reading skills, language and literature. Our curriculum also incorporates an array of subjects including math, science, art, music and more.
The staff at Academy of Little Achievers is committed to the highest standards of early childhood educational practices. Academy of Little Achievers strives to employ teachers who develop warm and caring relationships with children and are dedicated to creating a developmentally-appropriate classroom environment where all children experience success. All of our staff are CDA certified (Child Development Associate's Degree) or hold a college degree in education. All of our staff are CPR and First Aid certified.
